A bold, blocky font constructed from 3 different sized rectangles. The muse for this font was construction, this lead me down the path of experimenting with building bricks, placing bricks together to rough out letterforms. These building bricks later informed the different size rectangles I created that seamlessly fit together to make up the font. I also created a laser cut acrylic stencil that can be used to construct the letters, allowing the user to create the font or experiment with the blocks to develop their own, so the potential for construction doesn't just stop at my font. The letterforms also take influence from one of my favourite designers, Wim Crouwel, particularly his iconic Hiroshima poster.
